Planting & Care

1. Planting: Full sun and well-drained soil are ideal for ensuring your apple tree?thrives. So, select an area that receives approximately 6 hours of sunlight per day. Once you’ve selected a location, dig a hole that’s twice the width of the root ball and just as deep. Place your new tree, backfill the hole, and then mulch to preserve moisture. Finally, water to settle the roots.

*Tip: Make sure your mulch is not touching the base of the trunk.
